- Rim Rock Nature Trail
This 1.7 mile out and back trail is the only dog-friendly trail in the national park. This trail is still worth the visit to Black Canyon because of its incredible views. The trailhead is located at the South Rim visitor center, in the corner of the parking lot. It was not very obvious and I almost missed it.
2. Scenic overlooks
Dogs are allowed at the park’s scenic overlooks. One of the best ones we stopped at was at the South Rim visitor center. There is a short trail leading to an overlook deck behind the visitor center.
