Hi there! I’m Anne — a nurse by trade, a traveler at heart, and proud dog mom to a husky-mix named Max. What started as a travel nursing gig turned into a full-on love affair with the open road. From mountain hikes to cozy cabins, Max and I have spent the last few years sniffing out the best dog-friendly destinations this country has to offer.
Max came into my life as a heartworm-positive stray with a bullet wound in his hip and a spirit stronger than steel. Today, he’s my co-pilot, trail buddy, and inspiration for this blog. Max & Me is where I share the best places to hike, eat, and stay — all with your pup by your side.
