Chesterfield Gorge State Park is a small state park located in southern New Hampshire, not far from the Vermont border. It offers a one mile loop trail along the Wilde Brook where you can view rock formations, brooks, waterfalls, and cascades. Dogs are allowed on leash. Max loved hopping around on the rocks in the brook and swimming to cool off. The trail is mostly shaded as well, making this an ideal summer hike where your dog can keep cool. Parking and entry are free. We encountered many other dogs here, all on leash.
