Wildcat Falls in Merrimack, New Hampshire is a dog-friendly hiking trail that is beautiful in every season. Max has loved it here in Spring, Fall, Summer, and Winter. The trail is a 2.2 mile loop that takes you through the woods and then along the Souhegan River and some small falls. The parking lot can fit about 12 cars, but is often overflowing on weekends and in the summer. Parking is free. We especially enjoy going in the winter because there is typically no one there and we get the trails to ourselves.
