1. Graveyard Upper Falls Trail
The great part about this trail is the huge parking lot and restrooms. However, this was a crowded trail and I had to take the pace of the people walking right in front of me. Graveyard Upper Falls Trail is a 3.2 mile loop. The trail is very easy, but there are two creek crossings, so I would recommend wearing water shoes.

2. Catawba Falls River Trail
This is a 2.1 mile out and back trail. There is a large parking lot at the trailhead. I found the hike to the lower falls to be relatively easy. Max liked playing in the river at the base of the hike. We stopped at the lower falls to explore and play on the rocks, but if you keep going you can reach the upper falls with 580 metal grated steps. I wasn’t sure if Max would be able to do the metal steps and didn’t want to chance having to carry him.

3. Moore Cove Falls
This is an easy 1.2 mile out and back trail. The trail was very crowded and we encountered many dogs along the way. There were plenty of places for Max to stop and drink from the stream. The falls are beautiful and you can even walk behind them via a cave. Parking is located across from the trail, but there is a bridge to take you to the trailhead after you have parked.

4. Looking Glass Waterfall (0.3 mi)
Parking for looking glass waterfalls is along the side of the road. A few steps will take you down to the waterfall. Max enjoyed playing in the river and hopping over all the rocks.
